Making Accountability Work

Effective Employer Strategies in a Multigenerational Age

With new expectations for individual accountability for one's health, wealth, and career, today's multigenerational workforce brings vastly different perspectives, values, and needs to the employer-employee relationship. Companies that dig deeper into the internal drivers of their workers and proactively address their distinct needs will be in the best position to compete for talent long into the future. However, if ignored, the collective problems of each age group may swirl together into a perfect HR storm unlike we’ve ever seen.

What does this era of accountability mean for employers? A single answer won't suffice, because today's generationally diverse workforce holds widely different attitudes, values, and goals.

At Mercer’s 2015 Latin American Forum, HR leaders from all over the region will get together to discuss the unprecedented talent, benefit, and risk-management challenges both the corporate world and every individual in it are facing. We will share experiences, best practices, and intellectual capital on how to empower employees to take ownership of their own success.

Our Keynote Speakers

François Pienaar

The film Invictus is based on Nelson Mandela's pursuit to unite racially divided South Africa with the Rugby World Cup, enlisting François Pienaar to spearhead the effort. Morgan Freeman stars as President Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as François, both earning Academy Award nominations for their roles.

François, with twenty-nine international caps to his name, reached the highest peak in rugby union: he captained his country South Africa, to World Cup victory in 1995 on home turf and was presented the Webb Ellis Trophy by Nelson Mandela.
