Jay is the Professor of Leadership at Claremont McKenna College in California and is a Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Effective Organizations, Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He is also a Visiting Professor at the London Business School.
Jay is one of the world’s experts on leadership. He has worked with more than 350 organizations in his 25-year career. In recognition of his extensive work with companies, Business Week named him the best business school professor to teach leadership and one of the top five management education teachers worldwide. The Financial Times ranked him as one of the top global executive educators.
Spanning topics from leadership to organizational change, Jay has written more than 100 articles and book chapters and 14 books.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, an MBA from the University of Virginia and a DBA from the Harvard Business School.
