Gabriella is Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for American Express. She joined the company in 1982 and has had a portfolio career with the company, mainly in the HR department, although she has worked in Risk Management and Operations. With postings in Europe, Hong Kong and New York, Gabriella has had the opportunity to experience multi-location roles.

In her current role, Gabriella and her global team provide HR partnership and expertise to every line of business across the areas of Executive Talent Management, International Human Resources & Global Employee Relations, Global Recruitment & Workforce Planning, Diversity & Inclusion, Organizational Effectiveness, the Learning Organization, Research & Development, as well as Human Resource Relationship Management for the Vice Chairman.

Gabriella has a master’s degree in educational psychology from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology from New York University.
