Pauline van der Meer Mohr, Amstelbridge Group

Pauline is founder and president of the Amstelbridge Group, a rapidly growing global network of human capital professionals specialising in strategic human resources management, leadership development and social innovation. Her main focus is on helping organisations improve performance by building and growing their HR and leadership capabilities and by developing the skills, strategies and mindsets required for a sustainable enterprise. Amstelbridge is a not-only-for-profit organisation supporting several social enterprises. Through a strategic partnership with Mediators Beyond Borders, Pauline and her Amstelbridge associates are involved in peace-building initiatives around the world.

Pauline is a frequent guest speaker at various international conferences, universities and business schools. Prior to her current entrepreneurial and academic pursuits, Pauline was senior executive vice president at ABN AMRO Bank, head of group human resources at TNT, and she held several senior executive roles at the Royal/Dutch Shell Group of Companies in law, strategy, general management and human resources management. She started her career as a lawyer in private practice and in the Shell mergers and acquisitions team.

Pauline is a non-executive board member of ASML NV, Oce Technologies BV, Academic Medical Centre of Amsterdam University and the Dutch Refugees Council. She also serves on advisory councils of the Dutch government, CPI Governance, the board of the Robert Greenleaf European Centre for Servant Leadership, the African Parks Foundation, the European Professional Women’s Network and several other for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

Pauline holds a law degree from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and did postgraduate work at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She also holds a Masters degree in advanced dispute resolution from the University of Amsterdam. Her academic research interests include boardroom conflicts, alternative dispute resolution and organisational psychology.
