Paule Desaulniers
Paule Desaulniers is a partner and senior pension consultant for Mercer in the Mexico City office. She was previously in Toronto for more than 16 years.
In addition to her consulting responsibilities, Paule has training responsibilities for the retirement business in the Americas. She assists clients, both on a local and on a global basis, on pension and benefit issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, early retirement programs and downsizings. She also provides consulting on matters relating to design, communication, governance, accounting and funding of employee benefits programs.
Before joining Mercer in 1989, she consulted on pension plans and employee benefits, both in Canada and in the United States. She has authored a number of articles about pension matters in México, drawing parallels with programs in North America and has led presentations and seminars on related matters.
Paule has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Montréal. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
