Darrell Cira
Darrell Cira is a Principal in the Performance, Measurement and Rewards practice of Mercer Human Resource Consulting where he focuses on global compensation issues for US headquartered multinationals. He has over twenty years of experience directing numerous varied projects in the areas of strategic compensation system design, performance management, and employee research. Recent projects which he has directed include:
- Development and implementation of a broadband structure covering 17,000 in 39 countries for a US based pharmaceutical company.
- Total compensation audit of local reward programs in Asia and Latin America for a major financial services organization.
- Development of a global reward strategy for a division of a UK headquartered chemical company.
- Redesign and integration of base pay and incentive programs for a major global telecommunications company, subsequent to merger.
- Design and implementation of an on-boarding process for the global marketing organization of a Fortune 50 high technology company.
- Development of an “executive levelling” process for a major high technology organization.
In addition to his consulting responsibilities, Darrell has been instrumental in Mercer’s intellectual capital development efforts, directing or participating in the development of Mercer’s capabilities in the areas of broadbanding, competency-based pay, attraction and retention of employees, career pathing, global levelling, and global employee reward strategies.
