Peter Robotham
Head of Performance & Reward, HSBC Bank plc
Peter re-joined HSBC in March 2008, having previously worked for Midland Group and the fledgling HSBC Investment Bank for 11 years between May 1989 and December 2000.
Peter has been an HR professional for the whole of his career and has specialised in Reward Management for the last 30 years. His career has developed through experiences with the Prudential (12 years), Chase Manhattan Bank (4 years), HSBC Investment Bank (11 years) and Schroders (7 years).
Peter has just been appointed into his current role, having spent the last 12 months as the Deputy Head with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Reward team within the UK retail bank (45,000 employees) focussing on the operational delivery of the team including policy guidance, leadership of the annual performance and reward review processes, implementation of the Group Reward Strategy across the bank and review of the range of formulaic incentive arrangements.
Peter is extremely proud of his wife (of 27 years marriage), three wonderful young adults (aged 25, 24 and 20) and two very active dogs.
