Terms & Conditions
Travel Arrangements
Participants are asked to make their own travel arrangements. Shanghai airports include Pu Dong Airport and Hong Qiao Airport. Shanghai is also accessible by train via Shanghai Train Station and Shanghai South Train Station.
Ground Transportation
Arrival and departure - Participants are responsible for their own ground transportation between the airport or train station and Le Royal Meridien Shanghai, and are responsible for all related charges.
Taxi services are readily available from both airports and train stations. Further information is listed below:
- The trip from Pu Dong Airport to the hotel is 60 minutes, and a taxi will cost approximately RMB 170.
- The trip from Hong Qiao Airport to the hotel is 30 minutes, and a taxi will cost approximately RMB 50.
- The trip from Shanghai Train Station to the hotel is 15 minutes, and a taxi will cost approximately RMB 20.
- The trip from Shanghai South Train Station to the hotel is 40 minutes, and a taxi will cost approximately RMB 50.
(All travel times and taxi costs are approximate as they are affected by traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Meeting Attire
Dress for the program is business casual. Meeting rooms can be kept quite cool, so you may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater.

To avoid interruption during the session, messages and faxes will be available on the Mercer message board outside of the meeting room during the session. Please advise all contacts to address their correspondence to you at the Mercer Meeting, in care of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai.

Accommodations
Participants are responsible for booking their accommodation directly with Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. Mercer has negotiated a limited number of guestrooms at a discounted group rate. Please book your accommodation before 25 September 2008 to avoid disappointment, the discounted group rate will not be guaranteed after this date. Rooms will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book your accommodation via the reservations site.

Above rates include breakfast and are subject to applicable state and local taxes, currently 15%. The discounted group rate is available three nights prior and three nights after the official meeting dates subject to availability.
Hotel check-in is 2:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, we recommend that you check out before breakfast to avoid interrupting the session. The front desk can make provisions to store your luggage until your departure.
Hotel Services and Features
Guestrooms and suites feature the latest technologies and floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows that afford views of the Bund, the Huang Pu river, People's Square Park, and Shanghai's famed skyline. The hotel also features ten exciting restaurants and bars that offer a variety of cuisines as well as an indoor pool, gymnasium and spa. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops, and museums, the hotel provides ready access to all areas of Shanghai via the Nanjing Pedestrian Walkway that runs beside the hotel or Shanghai's subway that runs beneath it. The iconic Bund is a leisurely 20-minute walk away.
Terms & conditions
Cancellations/substitutions: Cancellations must be made in writing, to Natalia Campillos.
- Cancellations received on or by 30 September 2008 will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations received between 1 October and 9 October 2008 will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations received on or after 10 October 2008 and no-shows are non-refundable.
- You may substitute a colleague for yourself at no additional charge. All substitutes are required to submit a revised registration form to Natalia Campillos on or before 7 November 2008.
- Registration for the 2008 Asia Roundtable does not include accommodation or travel.
- Substitute participants will be accepted until 7 November 2008.
- The speakers may be changed at any time without prior notice.
- Any special dietary requirements must be pre-ordered.
