Wolfgang M. Lirk
Former Vice President Human Resources Asia Pacific, Knorr-Bremse Asia Pacific (Holding) Ltd
Mr. Lirk is the former Senior Vice President Human Resources Asia Pacific for Knorr-Bremse. He was managing and overseeing all HR activities in the Region for 19 locations in Hong Kong, China, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Australia. Mr. Lirk had played a key role in establishing 6 joint ventures in China. During his tenure, Knorr-Bremse grew in the Region from 800 employees to 2400.
Mr. Lirk began his career with Wacker Chemicals in Germany, and then spent three years with the Japanese pharmaceutical company Fujisawa. From 1995 till 2005 Mr. Lirk held several Senior HR Management positions with the SGL Carbon Group in North America and Europe.
Mr. Lirk holds a MBA degree and is also a certified management trainer.
