Phil Fersht
Research Director, AMR Research
Phil Fersht brings over 13 years' business experience in the outsourcing and IT services industry to AMR Research. Phil is an acknowledged industry analyst and advisor across Outsourcing and IT services worldwide, having worked extensively in Europe, North America and Asia as an advisor, consultant and industry analyst in Business Process Outsourcing (Finance/Accounting, Human Resources and Procurement), IT Outsourcing, Shared Services and Offshore Services. During this time, Phil has served as an advisor on over 40 major outsourcing and offshoring engagements.
Phil has previously served as a senior executive for Deloitte Consulting's Outsourcing Advisory Services, where he led numerous outsourcing and offshoring advisory engagements with FORTUNE 500 enterprises. Prior to Deloitte, Phil served as Vice President for Everest Group, an outsourcing strategy firm, leading three research and consulting teams based in the US and India. His prior career involved serving as Vice President, Global IT Services, Software and Outsourcing for research firm Yankee Group, and as Research and Consulting Director for IT analyst IDC.
Philip received a BS with Honors in European Business & Technology from Coventry University, United Kingdom, and a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie in Business & Technology from the University of Grenoble, France.
