Kathleen Brooke
CBP US Benefits Director AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals
Kathy is a member of the Global Benefits Department at AstraZeneca and is a leader in strategic benefit design and planning in the pharmaceutical and healthcare environments. As a creator of the AstraZeneca Healthcare Strategy focusing on Prevention, Quality and Adherence (PQA), she drives change by promoting healthy lifestyles, employee engagement and education through risk reduction strategies and cost avoidance initiatives. She is responsible for leading discussions with benefit consultants, national and local program providers, public health policy makers, and various internal personnel to leverage services to deliver the highest quality programs. Kathy drives internal and external change to continually improve the AstraZeneca benefit programs through value based purchasing and overall plan economics.
Kathy is a Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. She holds certificates from Cornell University, Executive Education Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS), and the College for Advanced Management of Benefits, a Thomas Jefferson University Medical School and HC21 program. She is past chairman and a member of the Whitpain Township Park and Recreation Board. Kathy's ultimate professional goal is to influence the national healthcare debate by demanding quality improvement, reduction of waste and inefficiencies while promoting health IT, rewarding performance and enhancing the current delivery system.
