Tony Herron
Partner, TPI Global Human Resources Practice
Tony is responsible for the management of TPI's employee benefits consulting practice and manages client projects involving strategic assessments, request for proposal processes and contracting.
Prior to joining TPI, Tony spent more than a decade in senior management positions with leading outsourcing and co-sourcing service providers such as CitiStreet, Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt Worldwide. During this time, he was responsible for a number of functions, including account management, market research, product development, contract negotiation, sales and marketing.
Over the course of his 25 year career, Tony has served as the leader on more than 200 DB, DC and H&W RFP projects, and managed dozens of contracting projects. Over the past three years alone, Tony has worked with clients such as AT&T, Baker Hughes, BHP Billiton, Baxter International, Boeing, CIT, Continental Automotive, Dell, Dominion, Fleetwood, General Motors, Hillenbrand, Hill-Rom, JCPenney, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Parker Hannifin, Pepsi Bottling Group, Sara Lee, Sonoco, State Farm, Target, Time Warner and Williams.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ball State University. He has completed a Leadership Development Program managed by the Harvard University Graduate School of Business. In addition, Tony has successfully completed the requirements for the National Association of Security Dealers Series 6 and Series 63 licenses, as well as Indiana and Illinois life and health insurance licenses.
