Sunita Holzer
Executive Vice President and Worldwide HR Officer, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies
Sunita Holzer joined Chubb as worldwide human resources officer in 2003 with responsibility for all worldwide HR functions. She was promoted to Executive Vice President in September 2007.
Prior to joining Chubb, Ms Holzer was Vice President-Human Resources for GE Capital Corporate. In this role, she was responsible for Human Resources oversight across five of the GE Capital businesses, as well as leading an initiative to make the company a Global Employer of Choice. Her early experience in GE included the head of HR role for Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, where she managed human resources and employee communication. Prior to GE, Ms. Holzer's help positions at American Express, and AIG, where her responsibilities included human resources strategy, compensation, leadership development, employee relations, diversity and succession planning.
Ms. Holzer has a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York - Stony Brook, a Masters of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the School of Labor Relations at New York Institute of Technology and a Six Sigma certification.
She serves on the Board for Jersey Battered Women's Service, Inc., a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is the prevention of domestic violence, is a member of the Insurance Conference Group, an organization comprised of senior human resource leaders from the top 20 insurance companies, the HR Roundtable, represented by top HR executives from major corporations who discuss strategic issues relating to human resources management and on the advisory board of the National Council for Research on Women, a non-profit women's research organization.
