Gilberto Lara Nogueira
Corporate Director, Organizational and Human Development, Votorantim
Gilberto Lara Nogueira is currently the Corporate Director of Organizational and Human Development for Votorantim Industrial SA, a privately owned Brazilian group with $19 million in revenues in 2007.
In recent years, the Votorantim Group has been investing heavily in its human resources including investments that target the education of its leaders, the improvement of its remuneration policies and benefits, care for the health and safety of its team, or the attraction of new talent.
Prior to Votorantim, he was responsible for human resources for the Polyamide Division for Rhodia Group, based in France. During his career at Rhodia, Gilberto had the opportunity to be responsible for two business units and to be president for the Argentina operation of the company.
Gilberto graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and has a master's degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He has completed several complementary programs at INSEAD in France.
