Sudarshana Rangachary assumed the role of Vice President, Human Resources for Retail Information Services Asia and Office Products Asia of Avery Dennison Corporation on June 1, 2008 after joining the company in 2005.
She oversees both business divisions' regional human resources organizations and programs. She sets strategic direction to continuously drive talent development, build leadership pipeline and improve the human resources service delivery model across various business functions.
Sudarshana's career has spanned a multitude of responsibilities. She joined Honeywell Inc. in 1997 where she was assigned to different roles in various locations including California, Singapore and Shanghai. She was Human Resources Director, Asia Pacific Specialty Materials Division prior to joining Avery Dennison.
Sudarshana holds a master's degree of Economics from the University of Madras, India and a master's degree of Science in Human Resources and Labour Relations from the Michigan State University East Lansing, MI, U.S.A.
