Nandita Gurjar
Vice President and Group Human Resources Head of Infosys Group
Today Nandita leads her team of HR transformers in one of the fastest growing and most profitable organizations based in India.
She has worked in varied functions from software coding and testing to quality before she found herself interested in the Human Resource as an area of expertise. She has over 15 years of experience and is known for her innovative and best-fit ideas in HR strategy. She joined Infosys Technologies, one of the leading software giants in India, in the year 2000 to start their Learning and Development wing.
Some of the initiatives to her credit are: Bringing about a Learning culture in the organization, creating a competency baseline and measuring it year on year, introducing the concept of Client Enabling programs- training interventions designed and implemented for the high performing accounts in the organization, introduction of assessment centres and creating individual development plans for high performers. She joined Infosys BPO in 2003 to head the HR function.
Over the past years Nandita has been invited to various international and India forums to talk about and share her experiences in managing HR for a dynamic BPO company and in mergers. She has always been hailed as an influential speaker with novel ideas and her ability to captivate the audience has seen her being nominated as the best speaker in many a forum. Infosys has appeared on Best Companies to Work for lists produced by Great Place to Work® Institute in India.
