Alessandro Bonorino
Human Resources Director, IBM Latin America
Alessandro Bonorino has been a Human Resources Director for IBM Brazil since July 2008, responsible for defining the strategy and policies related to Human Resources Management which support IBM accelerated growth in the region.
During his 16 years of experience in organizational management, he has led projects of transformation of several disciplines of personnel management, including not only personnel development programs but also diversity and social inclusion programs.
His most recent projects are connected to Human Resources leadership which has supported the fast growth of Brazilian branch in the last years and the implementation of a single operation for Spanish speaking South American countries.
Before taking over his present position, Bonorino was HR Director for IBM Brazil, HR Director for Spanish South America and HR Manager for LA Services Unit.
He graduated with a degree in Economics from UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) and holds an Executive MBA by IBMEC/PDG. Bonorino has lectured in several market events and is the author of opinion articles published by acknowledged means of communication in Brazil. In 2008 Revista Gestao & RH (HR Management Magazine) awarded him the prize for the best HR Director of the year.
