Nick Rettenmyer, Tetra Pak

Nick leads the Compensation function for Tetra Pak’s Global Centre of Expertise for Compensation & Benefits. In his present role, Nick directs and manages the development of global compensation strategy and policies impacting more than 20,000 employees in over 80 countries.

Nick has significant experience in compensation planning and sales force effectiveness roles. Before taking his current role, Nick held leadership positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb and Microsoft. As an Associate Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he had responsibility for the sales force metrics, planning, reporting and incentive compensation for specialty pharmaceutical brands with over US$1 billion in annual sales. At Microsoft, Nick was key team leader in the development and assessment of global sales compensation plans with 20,000 participants and annual costs of over US$300 million. Nick has also spent time in HR consulting with Mercer and Hay Group, primarily focused on broad-based compensation.

Nick has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
