Anish Batlaw
Director, TPG Capital
Anish joined TPG Capital in April 2009 as a Director based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for leading the Human Capital Strategies for their Portfolio Companies and investments in Asia.
Prior to joining TPG, Anish was Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation based in New Jersey. Previous roles at Novartis included Head of Global Talent Management and Head HR for Pharma Europe. Both these roles were based in Basel, Switzerland. He also worked with Microsoft Corporation as General Manager HR, at their Headquarters based in Redmond, Washington. Early in his career, Anish worked with PepsiCo Inc., in positions of increasing responsibility covering markets such as US, India, China and Vietnam.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from XLRI in India. He lives with his wife and two children in Hong Kong.
